Terms of service
Last updated September 3, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Magicbar, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Framework ("Framework," "we," "us"). By using our services or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Framework provides senior care coordination: help finding, arranging, and managing the people and tasks around an older adult's life, including appointments, records, bills, household vendors, in-home help, and related support. Framework also arranges therapy for family caregivers: finding a therapist, checking whether they take your insurance, and booking the first session.
3. Not medical or emergency care
Framework is not a medical provider and does not provide medical, legal, tax, or financial advice. Nothing in the service creates a physician-patient relationship. If there is an emergency, call 911.
4. Therapy matching and insurance
When you ask us to arrange therapy, we look for therapists in your insurance plan's network and ask their offices whether they take your plan. Coverage and cost are decided by your plan and the therapist, not by Framework, and anything we tell you about coverage is an estimate until your plan or the therapist's office confirms it. We do not bill your insurance. You authorise us to share the insurance details you give us with the therapists and practices we contact for you. If the plan is in someone else's name, such as a spouse or parent, you confirm that you are covered under it and entitled to use it.
5. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 to use the service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your contact details current. When you share information about another person, you confirm you have their consent or the authority to do so.
6. Fees and cancellation
Subscription fees are stated at signup and renew monthly until cancelled. Third-party costs we arrange on your behalf are passed through at cost. You may cancel at any time by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as required by law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service and website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
8. Intellectual property
The website, service, and their content are owned by Framework or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use them while you are a member.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy describes how we collect and use information and is part of these terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service and website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Framework will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Framework harmless from claims arising out of your violation of these terms or of applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for violation of these terms or non-payment. Provisions that should survive termination do so.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
15. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and post the new terms on this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
